Reaching Out Grant Process

The application portal for the 2027-28 calendar year will be open via the website in January 2027.

HOW TO APPLY

Do you have an idea to address a Greenwich Public School (GPS) student need that cannot be met within existing budget constraints? The Alliance seeks to fund grant programs that bring innovative ideas to GPS classrooms, address unmet student needs, and expand equitable access to meaningful educational opportunities for all students.

Grant size: Grants typically range from $1,000 to $25,000.

Eligible recipients: Greenwich public schools. Grants are not made directly to individuals.

Grant cycle: The grant application process starts in the January of the current school year for programs that are implemented during the following school year.

Deadline: Completed applications are due in late February.

Award Decisions: The Greenwich Alliance Reaching Out Grant Committee, composed of community members with interest and/or experience in the GPS, evaluates all grant applications. The evaluation is based on the written application as well as information gathered during an in-person meeting, using standardized criteria. The committee will make grant recommendations to the Greenwich Alliance Board of Directors, which makes final approval decisions.
